Organized by the British Council in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, or the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, today on 12.02.2016 in the hotel "Holiday Inn" was held workshop to create a strategy for the establishment of Sectoral Commission for Tourism and Hospitality.

The event which was attended by representatives of the hospitality in the country, many important institutions related to tourism including representatives from the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, introductory speech was delivered by Mrs. Natasha Janevska from the Ministry of Education and Science, which emphasized the need for establishing this strategy.

The participants of the workshop were divided into four groups to discuss and debate on specific topics or to define the necessary skills for the Department of Tourism and Recreation, then to define the curriculum which are required in the industry, for which spoke Meri Nickova MSc, from the Faculty of Tourism within UTMS, and on who should be involved in the developing of the Sectoral Commission.
