A team of University of Tourism and Management in Skopje within, Sasko Gramatnikovski Assoc. Dr., Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Goran Apostolovski MSc. assistant at the Faculty of Tourism and the students from the university, attended the ninth national championship of bartenders in Macedonia which was held on 15.03.2016 in the café CHAPTER in Skopje.
At this event, the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, actively participating on many levels. As a members of the jury, which judged the participants in the preparation of cocktails, in all the disciplines participated the Dean Gramatnikovski and the teaching assistant Apostolovski.
Participants competed in the discipline of classical preparation of cocktails. First place in the course of preparation of the cocktails ninth national championship bartenders Macedonia won bartender Nicola Joseski, while the second place went to Vasil Peevski, and third place went to Aleksandar Cvetkovski. For the best technical performance in the preparation of cocktails the award win Cristina Gjorgjievska, which received a plaque from the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje. This year for the first time held and Johnnie Walker Sour contest in which the winner was a former student of the Faculty of Tourism at UTMS, Dusko Markovic. The organization of this championship was smooth, and testified to the huge number of visitors. The winner Nicolas Joseski wish him much success and happiness in the World Cup bartenders which will be held this year in Tokyo, Japan.
